PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Work Experience
Series A startup building technology to make a human egg
At Conception I designed and executed experiments, and implemented tools to direct stem cells towards making a functional human egg. I worked with a team of fun, brilliant scientists all striving to bring this novel technology to fruition.
Core competencies: developmental biology, protocol development, molecule screens, data analysis and presentation.
2023 - 2024
Associate Scientist
Conception Biosciences
Berkeley, CA
2022 - 2023
Scientist, Aging Biology
Series B pharma developing canine longevity drugs
As a scientist at Loyal, I developed assays for canine cells, engaged in cross-company collaborations and worked with Contract Research Organizations (CROs). I also devised strategies to mimic canine aging at the bench. I worked alongside clinician veterinarians, researchers, and business executives, all committed to helping dogs live longer, healthier lives.
Cellular Longevity dba Loyal

Core competencies: aging biology, assay development, research communication.
Education
Ph.D. alumni-Adler Lab; BBS Program
2015 - 2021
Cornell University
Ph.D.
Biomedical & Biological Sciences
As a Ph.D. scholar in the Adler lab I identified two distinct pathways by which stem cells in immortal planarian worms resist radiation-induced cell death. As the labs first graduate student, I the honor and privilege of helping build the lab from ground up.
Core competencies: stem cells and developmental biology, cancer biology, project management, publishing, science communication, leadership.

KNP college of veterinary science (MAFSU)
Master's in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology
Shirwal, India
M.V.Sc. alumni-Department of Surgery and Radiaology
In addition to training as a veterinary surgeon, I also ran a pilot study investigating the clinical potential of stem cells in dogs suffering from osteoarthritis. I served as liaison between research at the bench and clinicians and diagnosticians to successfully plan and execute this project.
Core competencies: surgery, clinical trial management,
veterinary liaison.
